Why I Made Nasal Reset
I have been meditating for the past 19 years, and through that practice I’ve learned how important it is to be able to breathe gently and unlabored through the nose.
Sleep is almost like its own long meditation. It’s a time when the body should be able to become quiet, calm, and completely at ease. When your nose is perpetually clogged, it can be surprisingly difficult to settle into that state of rest.
When the nose is blocked, people often start breathing more shallowly, which can make the cycle of congestion even worse. Slow, calm nasal breathing can itself help create a more relaxed state and may support the nasal passages in becoming less inflamed.
That is part of why I became so interested in nasal breathing—not just as a way to get more air, but as something that can fundamentally change how comfortable and calm you feel.
NasalAid was originally created for people who had already tried strips, sprays, surgery, and other approaches and were still struggling to breathe.
One of the problems we were addressing was nasal valve collapse—when the nasal walls fall inward as you breathe in.
What we found was that for many people, this wasn't going away.
People were using nasal strips for years, sometimes until the adhesive began damaging their skin. What we realized was that the underlying problem could be chronic, while many of the products being designed for it were only intended to be used temporarily.
So we made NasalAid differently.
We designed it almost like a crutch for the inside of the nose—using strong, durable materials including implant-grade stainless steel, rather than an adhesive strip that was never designed for years of use.
We've now sold NasalAid successfully for quite some time.
But as we learned more, we realized that mechanically opening the nose was only part of the equation.
What happens when you address the tissue, too?
This is what led us to create Nasal Reset.
Hypochlorous acid is a naturally occurring substance with a long history in wound care because of its ability to support the body's natural healing environment. We wanted to see what would happen when we paired gentle nasal care with the mechanical support of NasalAid.
The effects aren't meant to be harsh or immediate. That's why we created a 14-day routine.
The idea is simple:
The dilator helps open and support the airway.
The spray helps care for the nasal tissue.
Together, we found that the combination could be much more powerful than addressing either one alone.
